The midpoint of the recent Solstice Finland tour, the entirety of the Turku set was captured for posterity by YouTube user Tyggerghast. Playing to a packed out Nirvana club on the 21st of September, the Saturday crowd was treated to quite possibly one of our best shows yet.

Although I feel I could have personally done better during the hour-long set, with a few slipped notes and an over-enthusiastic smoke machine in my corner; I’m proud of how we performed together as a band. It was real, it was raw, and our determination was honest.

The current line-up has been lauded by many as the greatest, and I can understand why. The five of us put our all onto the stage every night we play, and are repaid with inspiring responses from both old-school fans and those newer to our intent.

Moments like this make it all worthwhile.
