While most folk were down in London for the big Black Metal shindig last weekend, I was back home in slightly cosier surrounds. Supporting local prog-goth rockers, (and old friends), Dawn of Elysium at the Lending Room in Leeds.

As we’ve been working together on a sci-fi short film in recent months, I prepared some of my video work for the project by way of backdrop. Bassist Emma then edited it all together with a few other clips, and the end result projected as the band played.

Technical issues conspiring as they do, it was unfortunate the final video didn’t quite fill the available space. But overall it worked well for an impromptu throw-together.

A trial run for more ambitious audiovisual antics to come.
